Reflection on Edu 505

  • What were your favorite discoveries or exercises on this learning journey?
  • How has this course assisted or affected your lifelong learning goals?
  • Were there any take-aways or unexpected outcomes from this course that surprised you?
  • What could we do differently to improve upon this course’s format or concept?
  • If we offered another discovery program like this in the future, would you again chose to participate?
Throughout this course I have learned about many online resources that I didn't even know existed. I loved learning about social bookmarking and I have been adding to my site weekly. I think this is a great way to store websites and to share them with others.
I have come to find that we really are all connected through the web and to use this to my advantage. It is another way we can connect to student in their "real" lives and expose them to new resources and other students around the globe.
I was surprised at all of the ways I could use a blog and through the discussions with my other classmates they really gave me great feedback and even more ideas! I had a wonderful time sharing information with them and sharing experiences!
I would not change anything about the course. I liked all of the links to readings and videos. These gave me a good well-rounded knowledge of the information.
I would participate in another course like this and I would encourage my colleagues to as well! Thanks for everything!
